Following on from the success of the limited edition Masquerade and Disco bottles in recent years, the new bottle - wrapped in an exclusive package of leather and studs - pays tribute to the "vibrant, bold and irreverent world of rock".

The Absolut Rock Edition is being launched in Selfridges on September 1 priced at £19.99, before being rolled out to retailers at the beginning of October. (Already in stores in Germany!)

Absolut Rock Edition is at the heart of the ‘In An Absolut World, You Rock’ campaign.

The launch will be supported by creative marketing activities which enable consumers to feel like rock stars.

The new Absolut Vodka skin will be revealed this Monday (Aug 10th).

The rumor is that the unofficial launch is September and the official release will be in December.

The Nuance Group Sweden has been selected as the launch partner for The Absolut Company’s new release in travel-retail. Absolut No Label is a limited edition of the 40% abv Absolut vodka and will be available exclusively at Nuance’s Swedish duty-free stores until the end of June.

The Absolut No Label bottles are numbered and contain no label or logo. They feature only a removable campaign sticker with the website address, where consumers can find more information and give feedback. The product was launched on May 22 and in Scandinavian travel-retail the exclusivity deal will be extended until the end of August.

"In an Absolut world there are no labels. No one is judged on the basis of prejudice, and everybody is encouraged to be who they really are. Seeing beyond stereotypical labels makes the world more vibrant, diverse and respectful."

This set of Absolut Chrome was only released in Germany & France in the year 2006 and for a limited period only. The 1st 3 from the left is from Germany whereas the 1 on the most right is from France.

Very unique set of 7 Absolut in a plastic case. This set of Absolut Seven is from China. It was made of hard plastic which could be use as an ice tray with the shape of the Absolut bottle.

Absolut seven sells in China also with other embalage.

Set of five flavours that you can buy in any Sprit shop in Sweden, but kind of rare in the rest of the world. Practical if you want to have a taste of those flavoured vodkas before invest your money in a big bottle. Here they are 50ml Absolut Citron, Absolut Ruby Red, Absolut Pears, Absolut Raspberri & Absolut Vanilia.

If you guys do not know. Caipirinha you make with "Pinga" (Cachaca) sugar-cane destilated, with smached limes, ice and sugarcane sugar. Mums, I fell the fresh Ipanemas beach breazze. Well, Caipiroska is done with vodka. And Absolut Caipiroska..yes you guess it. With Absolut Vodka of course. 

This set of gift pack is from Brazil. Consist of 1 x Absolut Vodka 1 Liter & 1 x Absolut Citron 200ml.

Here you see is a Absolut Surprise which house a bottle of Absolut Vodka 700ml inside, this edition was only launch for the Greece market. The material used for the top and the bottom is tin and the middle is plastic. There is printing of a zip on the tin to somehow show that this tin is open up and you could view that there is a bottle inside. 2008

A set of 4 cocktail shaker which was only released in France in the year 2008 for a limited time only. It is made of hard plastic which could house a 700ml bottle inside it.

Absolut Cut is old and past news. Far too sweet for my taste, but as a matter of curiosity:

To celebrate Selfridges 100the Anniversary Absolut vodks brand unveils new bright yellow plastic limited edition case in UK! Each of the 5,000 bottles are packaged in a plastic case and feature a message congratulating Selfridges on its centenary.

"Absolut would like to congratulate Selfridges on its centenary. Open to the world since 1909. Selfridges offers the ultimate in shopping experiences from the unique to the extraordinary. Absolut celebrates one hundred years in style with Absolut Selfridges 100."

In  "Sex and the City" episode "Hop, Skip and a Week", sexy Samantha Jones (Kim Catrall) makes a deal for her latest steamy love interest, Smith Jared (Jason Lewis), to appear in a provocative, fictional advertising campaign called "ABSOLUT HUNK."

Smith’s campaign, in which he appears in the nude (his modesty hidden by a strategically placed bottle of ABSOLUT vodka) begins to pop up all over New York City, with perhaps the most impressive display, taking place on a giant billboard in Times Square.

In the episode the fictional ad is a huge success. Not only does it set Smith’s career alight, but also prompts the creation of a new drink -- the ABSOLUT HUNK, which is subsequently sipped by the girls on the show.

4 Parts ABSOLUT VANILIA

1 part simple syrup

1 part fresh lime juice and a splash of pineapple juice.

Pour ABSOLUT VANILIA over ice in a shaker. (Create simple syrup by mixing equal parts water and sugar together and stand mixture aside until it has dissolved into a simple syrup). Add simple syrup, fresh lime juice and a splash of pineapple juice. Shake or stir well. Strain and serve in chilled martini glass. Garnish with a lime.

1 1/4oz. Absolut Peppar
Tomato Juice
Worcestershire Sauce
Tabasco Sauce

Pour Absolut Peppar over ice in a tall glass. Fill with tomato juice. Add a dash or two of Worcestershire sauce. Stir. Garnish with a celery stalk. For those who enjoy their bloody marys extremely spicy, add a dash of Tabasco, to taste.
